Connecting with Oxford Innovation at B4’s Oxfordshire Business Summit 2025
This Wednesday (14th May), DrillBoard Ventures had the privilege of attending the Oxford Business Summit 2025, hosted by B4 at Blenheim Palace. The event provided an invaluable opportunity to immerse ourselves in the vibrant Oxford business ecosystem and explore potential collaborations in this innovative region.

The summit served as an exceptional gateway into Oxfordshire for companies like ourselves. Set against the backdrop of Blenheim Palace, the event brought together an impressive cross-section of the local business community, creating an environment where we could engage directly with Oxfordshire's key stakeholders.

What struck us most was the remarkable diversity and vibrancy of the Oxford ecosystem represented at the summit. The sessions on university collaboration particularly resonated with us, highlighting how Oxford's world-leading academic institutions are partnering with businesses to translate research into real-world applications. We’ve sen how powerful this kind of cooperation can be with HATRIQA, one of our associated brands, working closely with both UCL’s Institute of Education and UCL Innovation and Enterprise.

HATRIQA's collaboration with the Oxfordshire FA to pilot the Soccer Reader Method is a perfect example of how London-based innovation can find fertile ground in Oxfordshire. This partnership demonstrates the region's openness to working with external partners while leveraging its own sporting heritage and community connections.
